I believe your chain is being yanked by MarStar. Once you get ALL your paper work all done, form six, customs paperwork etc., the "parts vanish out of stock". _________________ The early bird gets the worm but the second mouse gets the cheese.

If you read some of my earlier posts, you will see that you'll get the run-around from the ATF if you try to import PARTS with a FORM 6.
| AaronHorrocks wrote: | YEARS ago (about 7 years), I tried to buy some M2HB parts from Canada to build a dummy. A Form 6 was required. I went back and forth with the ATF for months trying to get things sorted out.
They treated the issue as if I was trying to import a firearm, and needed the serial number of the gun on the paperwork.
I made it clear that I was trying to purchase a handful of parts, and NOT the right sideplate, and NOT a firearm.
The back and forth continued for months.
I still have all the papers. Either the guy I was dealing with was a complete moron, or was proactively trying every road-block to stop me from buying old parts. |

I had no problems with the ATF in fact they were quite helpful.
The approval took a while though. If I remember correctly it was about three months.
MarStar was also very helpful on the phone as far as part #'s and paperwork. But in the end they claimed to be completely out of stock on all M2HB parts.
I went as far as posting a $100 challenge to anyone not a dealer/importer who could prove actually getting any .50 parts from them into this counrty. After about a year nobody claimed the prize so it was withdrawn. _________________ The early bird gets the worm but the second mouse gets the cheese.

| Now that you mention it, I've never heard of anyone getting any part of an M2HB from MarStar, in the years I've been messin with these guns. |

I successfully purchased and imported, from Marstar, 4 M2 heavy barrels on an approved form 6 back in 2003 0r 2004...can't remember. They were $127 plus $30 shipping a piece. They sent me a NOS stellite in the batch...still in the cosmo and paper wrap. The other 3 were used steel barrels in very nice shape. This was before I was a dealer and the barrels were for personal use with my semi M2. _________________ Dave B.

I guess this proves there is an exception to every rule! _________________ The early bird gets the worm but the second mouse gets the cheese.
